What is the Great Day of Service?

The Great Day of Service is a day for all members of Blacknall to join with friends, neighbors, family, and strangers in service to our community of Durham. The purpose of the day of service is to:

1. Learn about and celebrate the work of local ministries. This event provides Blacknall members a snapshot into the important work local ministries do year round. A day of service can often serve as a catalyst for volunteers to become more involved throughout the year.

2. Understand the mission and motivation behind different local initiatives.  Local ministries are on the front lines serving our community. Learning more about what drives their work can be a great encouragement as we strive to be the body of Christ together in Durham.

3. Get something done!

How do I sign up?

If you want to sign up for a particular project, you can do it in two different ways:

1. Stop by the booth in the lower atrium to read about projects and sign up through April 15th.

2. Sign up online at http://tinyurl.com/2012GDOS.
